- Born on April 14, 1939; Family from Danzig.
- Expulsion in 1945. Via Dresden and Leipzig to Erlangen.
- From 1955 to 1963, pupil of Christian Klaiber, a former pupil of Henri Matisse and Fernand Léger. Studies of history, philosophy and history of art at the University of Erlangen.
- From 1959 to 1960, paintings of his own accord from originals of Konrad Witz (”Die Verkündigung an Maria“; 158 × 120,5 cm; 1440-1443), of Rembrandt (”Paulus im Gefängnis“; 41 × 39 cm; 1627-1630), and of Dürer (”Porträt von Michael Wolgemut“; 29 × 27 cm; 1516); all of them in original sizes.
- Within the same time period, frequent visits to the restoration workshop of the ”Germanisches Museum“ in Nürnberg, in order to learn different craft techniques.
- Regular journeys to Italy, Scandinavia, Greece, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands and Argentina during his studies.
- From 1963 to 1966, studies and diploma at the ”Kunstakademie Berlin“.
- Lives and works in Andalusia from 1966 to 1969.
- Lives and works in Paris from 1970 to 1973.

It's about collections of poems by Paul Celan: ”Zeitgehöft“ as a whole, excerpts of ”Die Niemandsrose“ and of ”Lichtzwang“, ”Engführung“ as a whole and other excerpts of ”Sprachgitter“ and ”Atemwende“.
- From 1997 to 2000, new large resonance room: ”Mühle“, 4 slabs, 350 × 308 cm each, purchased by the art museum Liechtenstein in 2004.
- From 2001 to 2005, new resonance room: ”Cavatina“, 4 slabs (333 × 390 cm each).
- From 2002 to 2004, ”Cortijos caidos“, Andalusia.
- Since 2003, creation of a new resonance room: ”Amgheid“, 9 slabs (480 × 270 cm each).
- New project since 2005: ”Yeelen“.
